Smart Moves!

We played some fun body puzzles for the mind today!

Xavier brought in a DVD called Smart Moves which

are a series of body movements that function as a calisthenics for the brain.  

Make sure to ask your Pre-K'er some of the moves we did!

Numbertales

Today students were introduced to another Scholastic mini book series called Numbertales. Similar to the Alphatales, these stories are read to the class and later students may make their own mini book in the hive to review and share at home. Each week the Numbertale will focus on one number or math concept, such as addition, subtraction, even and odd numbers, etc. Tonight an additional page was sent home to accompant your child's mini book. This does not need to be returned! It is just for fun with the number ten.
