Thursday...
We found all the /B/'s on our Bb Cheer and highlighted them with highlighter-tape!
For small-group seatwork today, we worked on a /B/ sound page.
We practiced as a whole group and did it together on the SmartBoard first.
We wrote the words of the pictures using our INVENTIVE SPELLING!
(*please note this is the kids inventive spelling and not mine!!!)

Second Step
Today in Second Step we learned about same and different. We began by playing a game of Simon Says using the concepts of same and different. When we played Simon Says the friends had to do exactly what I said to do not what I was doing. For example, Simon Says do the same thing as me (hands on head). Simon Says do a different thing from me (hands on shoulders).
We looked at a picture of two boys climbing a tree. One had a happy face and was excited. The other boy had a scared face. We talked about what was the same and what was different about the boys. We learned that it is alright to have different feelings from other people about the same thing.
Some new activities for B week!
We played some games on the Smart Board!
We practiced our fine motor skills with Beads!
We practiced our counting skills with Beans!
We blew Blue Bubbles in Creation Station to make Blue Bubble Art!
