Tuesday...
Writing with our letter-doodle!
Mini-marshmallow-measuring in the Science Station!
Cutting out Tic-Tac-Toe pieces in the Games Station!
Part of our Morning Message was to tally how many teeth we had lost.
Our choices were:
0 or 1 or more!
We got to play with our new SmartBoard program that was about
Jack and Jill!
Visiting Readers
We had 3 guest readers come to our classroom and read us a book that they wrote!
They were in 1st grade and they were AMAZING!

Making our Little Books!
Every Monday, your child will make a 'Little Book' that is an exact replica of the
story we read in class every day.
This story always follows the sound that we are studying.
Re-reading this story with your child, both at school and at home, will help them to identify the sound we are studying!
Happy Reading!
Special Visitor...
Mrs. Robeano came to visit us today!
She read us our /T/ story as well!
We look forward to having her back next week!
Picture Day!
Your child is bringing home a picture order form today in his/her backpack.
If you would like to order pictures, please send back the order form in your
child's pouch.
Our pictures are:

Please have your child wear this shirt on Friday to school

LATE START! WEDNESDAY!
DON'T FORGET...
TOMORROW IS A LATE START DAY!
SCHOOL BEGINS AT 9:30
RATHER THAN 8:05
SmartBoard
During Station Rotation, we practiced sequencing!
During free choice, we played with our SmartBoard letter program!
As a group, we circled all the /m/ words!
Marshmallow Estimation
We had 2 jars filled with marshmallows...
We 'estimated' which jar had MORE!
Jar 1 had big marshmallows and jar 2 had mini-marshmallows!
Once we counted them... the big marshmallows had 16
and the mini-marshmallows had 30!
So, although the big marshmallows filled the entire jar, the mini-marshmallows had
the most!

Making Masks!
We decorated MASKS to help us remember our sound of the week.
Some of us wanted our picture taken and put on the blog!
